I received a letter from a person named Robert Lever, accounts manager of Kingsway Financial Services, Inc. stating that i won a lottery with a company named North America Vacationers Sweepstakes/ Lottery Program. They claimed that i won a Bahamas Cruise with a lump sum payment of $20, 000.00 (US DOLLARS).
I also received a check enclosed with the letter that states "OFFICIAL CHECK" for $2, 946.75 (US DOLLARS) from US Bank. The remitter on check was "LINDSEY Person" and the check was issued from Los Angeles, Ca. The letter told me to call a claims agent by the name of Mr. Benjamin Tempo at 1-204-951-1486 and to make sure to claim before June 8, 2007.
The letter also stated that i take this check in the amount of $2, 946.75 and deposit it into my bank account and when cleared must be used to pay for the taxes to further finalize my claim and for processing fees as well as non residential tax fees. Well i wasn't going to deposit the check in my bank account cause it didn't make sense to me at all. And if i was suppose to have won all this why are you gonna send me some of the money to pay for taxes i would think they would of sent me all my winnings that they said i won.
It just didn't make no sense at all to me i new it was a scam!
