Let me start by saying I didn't fall for the scam. My wife recieved a suspicious letter from City Lottry Management Inc. stating the she was a third category winner from a lottery draw on July 23rd 2007. It was tagged a COMPENSATION DRAW. They sent us check for $4700 and claimed that we were entitled to a lump sum of $250, 000.00. They claim that the purpose for the check was for the payment of Candadian Non-Resident Government Service Tax (GST) payable to the Canadian Tax office below.

She was advised to call her claim agent who was listed as Tracey Cheng phone number 1-778-317-9644 followed by a warning to keep winning information confidential till all disbursements were made.
The letter was signed by John Hastings although the handwritten signiture didn't look anything like that. The letter came with no return address it was postmarked from canada and right above my wife's name was her cell phone number area code and all. I hope this helps tose guy's get caught!
