Don't cash checks from unknown sender Ripoff

I have received this letter stating that won $27, 000. that name was drawn from 5, 000 names of vacationers from several countries. they send me a check for $2.998.99 from their financial sponsors. the must be deposited in my account and when cleared use to pay for taxes to finalize my claim. this amount will be deducted and my total will $17023.60. pay to me after paying the my processing and non residential tax within 24 hours through fedex next day delivery. I also won 2 days and 2 nights all -inclusive round trip cruise to Bahamas.
the check was sent throught Wachovia Bank in Delaware
I think this is a rip off, I didn't enter any contest
