I received a "Certificate of Award" letter from the Ultra Lottery Commission claiming I was one of the winners of the British International Lottery program (no such lottery).
The letter included a check drawn on U.S. Bank National Association in Sheridan, Wyoming in the amount of $2, 996.00. It asks for me to contact the claims agent listed in Winneperg, MB by Dec. 20, 2006. The check is very real looking.
The check would enable me to finance the "international clearance fees of $2, 850.00. Then I would receive a total of $61, 100 minus a 6% sponsor's commission. Not in this lifetime!
I am sending this to our state attorney general's office.
