Hemlock Valley Resort hires employees with certain promises including binding contracts and does NOT live up to thier expectations including, not paying the agreed amount on contracts, and uses every excuse to get away with it. Demanding more rent than was agreed. Seasonal position that is now over and still owe the better part of $1000.00. Using the excuse that rent was'nt paid up and of all things Jaime Cox tries to say that I owe them money.
Niel Millar actually tried to make the head chef contract dissappear thinking that there was no copy of it but there was. Certain so called Managers make the real workers pay a small fortune through the nose to survive and they get the free rent and free cars and if anything, they cause more problems for the people who actually try to do good for the establishment. Another example, one Manager would run up a bar tab and of all things, tries to put it on customers tabs. The establishment has done this to a number of people (insulting ones intelligence)
Women working in the administration department had to deal with all sorts of verbal abuse from Jamie Cox and Niel Millar.who is an admitted homosexual and is the rudest S.O.B. towards women and younger employees.
The list of grievences goes on and on, Niel Millar and Jamie Cox are the absolute masters at passing the buck and shurking thier responsibilities and denying any of thier actions and blaming other people instead. There are numerous staff who have had serious problems with employment there esspesially with agreed pay wages and shorting a huge number of staff on thier paycheques, towards the end of the season and knowing the staff would be long gone by the time thier last pay was relesed.
Hemlock Valley is the absolute worst place for seasonal employment and the will promise all sorts of things to young ambitious people but, without a doubt, they will screw you around and even break the law to get away with thier actions and everybody that loves to work at resorts with free skiing and all sorts of other things included. Y OU DO NOT want to work there.
