GEE LTD, Grande Event Entertainment LTD
Total scam, took my money made me build the content to the site then sht the site down, Mississauga

I went to a national franchise show in Toronto, in January 2009, It was my understanding that all business there were checked prior to being permitted to sell their franchises. For some strange reason there are a ton of complaints against this company on line (which unfortunately I only saw after I purchased) and yet the BBB has nothing on these scam artists. I officially made a complaint on the BBB today hoping it will help other trusting people not get sucked into this.

The deal was this, I pay for a site, I write up all the content and give so much time a day to market it and they change the content daily and train me on how to get the site traffic. The training that was supposed to be 16-20 hours at their offices turned out to be a 15 minute phone call every so often and then hours of work to do. I did everything I was asked to do and just when the traffic started picking up (six month later) the site was shut down.

When someone finally got back to me they said I had to send my credit card number to this unknown company in the states who would do the hosting from now on. This company screwed me out of almost 10k and now they expect me to just send my credit card info... gee wonder how much of that they would have used before pulling the plug again?? Along with the site I was promised 16k in pre paid cards which started selling then had to reimburse my customers because the site didn't exist either.

All together a big scam and everyone gives you the run around. There was a100% money guarantee that of course looked like this when I asked about it: they requested I sign a complete release towards anyone that dealt with, the company and any affiliates and then if I signed the release they would TRY to sell the site for me. Sound promising? You bet it does... not. I think that the franchise show should be sued for letting these scam artists in and ripping customers off. I think every person that I dealt with should be charged with fraud. I will make my mission to go after each and everyone of them personally!
