Global Online
A new face on a tired old MLM work at home scam

First of all- I can't believe that I am the first to write a report on Global Online. A warning about this company is sorely needed.

I came across this company when I was searching the internet for franchise opportunities. Though I don't remember exactly where I first read about them, their information was on a web page that had info about other real and legitimate business opportunities (franchises, like I said). It sounded like another internet-based business that was also a franchise, so I clicked on the link and checked them out (the web address above is just one of them, believe me, there are HUNDREDS more).

It smelled like an MLM. As we have all come to expect from an MLM sales pitch, there was nothing on this site that explained exactly what the business was- just testimonials about how great the product was, how large a dollar figure you could make, how easy it was, how terrible the world of real business is, how you can retire early and go on vacation whenever you want, blah blah blah. If you wanted to get started, you needed to order a 39.95 "Decision Package." But don't worry, it has a money-back guarantee.

I was suspicious, but I ordered one anyway. When the envelope finally arrived, it contained a video and a booklet. The return address was one located in British Columbia.

I popped the video into my VCR and watched all of it. It was a badly-produced work that did not even attempt to expound upon the little that was said on their web site. What was on the tape was the same old MLM drivel- ordinary-looking people telling us how wealthy they are now, how free they are now, how easy the business is, how popular the products are, no clues as to what the products actually are or what the business actually is.

Not long after I viewed the tape, I decided if I could find out more about the company. A search for "Global Online" here at the complaint produced nothing. I then decided to check out the Better Business Bureau page on the web, and searched for Global in the Canadian Section. Sure enough, there it was.

Folks, Global Online is just another Herbalife scam. Stay away from this one at all costs.
