I responded to an on-line advertisement for computer education by requesting a free video of their first lesson. They then commenced to send me, in quick succession, four more videos. I now discovered that I had missed a very important segment of their advertising. If I did not wish to continue with their course, I had to cancel within two weeks of receipt of the first lesson. Problem was -I was too busy to read the fine print! I sent back all five of the lessons I had received and after a lot of effort found a phone number to call. I did get through to a person called "Ray" who did not seem to have a great command of the English language. He agreed to "look into the matter" and to get back to me. That was on January 18th. 2010. Since then I have heard nothing and I am out-of-pocket $830.96 (can) plus $37.50 (can), shipping charges, total$878.46 (can). As previously noted I had returned all merchandise but have yet to receive any kind of a refund.
I consider this to be tantamount to theft and would like to bring charges against this organization under this charge.
