On December 5 my dad and I saw an ad on Yahoo for ipodsonsale.net. I ordered a nano ipod for $145 ($135 plus $10 shipping) on his behalf. He wanted to give it to my mom for Christmas. I have yet to receive the product.
On Friday, December 15 I called both of the toll free #s (1-877-816-6597 and 1-866-602-5425) to get a tracking number. They were busy, but I finally reached a lady who told me the ipod shipped but she didn't have a tracking number because her system needed to update.
I called back again on Monday, December 18 but no tracking number was available. I asked the lady if, in fact, the products were new (not refurbished). She said they were brand new products, completely sealed.
Okay, now today is Thursday, December 21. Both toll free numbers are out of service. Ipodsonsale.net redirects you to ipodsrule.net, but neither of the websites ever come up.
I called my credit card company, canceled my current credit card, and ordered a brand new card. Don't let them run away with your credit card #!!
Now my dad is combing Circuit City or wherever he can find the ipod he wanted - so frustrating! Sorry all of you experienced this too.
