During October of 2008, I ordered a trial product through Striaex. Their website indicated that the trial product was free and all you had to pay for was $2.95 for the shipping & handling. If you were not interested in the product, you were to send it back within 20 days. But if the product is not returned within the 20 days, Striaex will charge you $100 or so for the supply continuation assuming that the product was good and you wanted to keep it.
Intially, I thought it was a great deal so I entered my debit card information on the website to proceed with the trial order. The next day, I researched the background of the website and discovered an over-whelming amount of complaints and bad experiences by many people. Such experiences were that people were sending back the trial products, as instructed, but yet still getting charged for it! Which in my case was the same!
Immediately, I called my bank and cancelled the debit information that I used when completing the order because after reading these bad experiences, I was afraid they Striaex would start charging me. Therefore, my bank re-issued me a new account # within days.
So when I finally did receive the trial product, to avoid the charges I immediately went to UPS and shipped it back to the address listed on their website.
A few months have gone by, it is now January 2009 and I receive an email from Striaex notifying me that I have a balance due of $189.98 for the product. They said f I didn't pay for it, I would receive a collections notice.
I was so angry and upset at that point because I had shipped the product to the address as I was told. Then I began to think of all the similar bad experiences these other people went through and saw that it was happening to me.
So I called Striaex' customer service, explained to them my situation and all they told me was that someone from their headquarters would call me back. After waiting patiently for a few weeks, I still did not receive a call back.
I call again, and the next customer service rep tells me that there is nothing she can do regarding the cancellation of the charges. Overall their customer service was horrible and did not sound business professional whatsoever.
A few days later, I receive a collection notice from Transworld Services Inc. notifying me of the same balance of $189.98 and that it needed to be paid.
I leave myself with no other choice but to pay it as I did not want my credit to be affected.
This leads me to where I am today, filing this report on this SCAM company. They have conducted in fraudulent activity, have disobeyed their own policies, and are extremely un-responsive to their customer satisfaction.

I hope this company gets sued, and that justice will be served to all of their dissatisfied customers.
