Azim P. Kassam needs to held responsible for his actions. He is suppose to be the acting manager of this hotel, he is never on site when he should be, and feels all he has to do is call on the phone several times a day, and watch the camera monitors to watch what ever one is doing. He is not a honest man, will tell you one thing then tolally do the oppesite and then deny everthing. Tells you one thing and tells someone else something different. In my eyes this is called lying. He never does his own dirty work, always gets someone else to do it. When he is told what is leagal and what is not, he does what he wants. He has treated past and prevous staff members very poorly. The rules only apply to some and not the others. Some staff members are allowed to steal, never do their job and nothing happens to them. Others are not so lucky. Azim is a man of false promieses and is not very trust worthly. I was told all about him and I did not believe these things were true, I have since found out different. This hotel is not a great place to work as it once was. The roof leaks and you can smell mold and mildew, I believe that is harmfull to everybody that stays and works there. I was employed there up untill yesterday Aug.22/11 when I was unfairly dissmissed. I was very upset at first, then when I got over the shock I realised I am much better off, out of there. I gave one hunderd percent, worked three different shifts a WEEK, never called in sick and gave plenty of notice for required days off. I cleaned when no one else wood because I could not work in the filth.(behind the desk and in the back) I know guest enjoyed my presents, because they left very nice comment cards. I also had not so nice comments, but I believed they were adressed. I am writing this letter to let someone know that things are not good at the Day's Inn in Cranbrook B.C. and they sure could be better. I know that I am not the only staff member that feels this way. You may not do anything, but file this under G., that will be your choice. At least I got it off my chest. Thank you for taking the time to read my concerns.
