This is a terrible, terrible location. Do yourself a favor and don't bother.
I have been a customer at this location before this particularly HORRIFIC visit. I will NEVER, EVER return to this location once I've received my refund. After walking into the location, where there were two other customers having their order made. One of these customers happened to grab his cell phone out of his pocket, look at it briefly before being ripped into by the employee, who snapped on this poor customer for presumably checking the time on his cell phone?. Anyways, after being a bit taken aback by the employees actions, my boyfriend and I proceeded to order. By this point, it was very clear that the employee was still rattled by his previous encounter, and this was taken out on our order. He didn't finish cleaning up the previous mess from the order he has just finished making, and he could barely pull the cheese apart because he was shaking. Obviously, not wanting to piss him off anymore, neither of us said anything about the man handling of our subs. I didn't want to poke an already angry bear.. until he poked me. So, after he (miraculously! ) finishes piling our sub/wrap together, he goes ahead rings us in.. my boyfriend puts a 20 on the counter, and goes digging for a loonie and a few pennies.. this was maybe a 2 second process, by the time he looked up the man had slammed our change on the counter and WALKED AWAY. When I asked him to wait to give us the bill we were OBVIOUSLY hoping to get, he told us to put the change on the counter and he'd come back for us. At this point, I'm angry; I expect a certain level of service, not very high or anything but I basically want to know that while I'm a paying customer, I get just BASIC service. A hello, a general air of helpfulness, and a good bye, WHEN THE TRANSACTION IS FINISHED, not when he feels like we're done. I leave with my boyfriend - hungry, now pissed off, to open my wrap to find a half filled tortilla, and my boyfriends messy sub. So, I go back and tell him I'm unsatisfied, where he gets belligerent with both my boyfriend and I, and actually flat out refused a refund, refused to remake my meal, and actually told me to bring my supper (which I am unsatisfied with) home, wait until the next day, to bring it back to the boss. After 15 minutes of listening to this man argue with us about whether or not we were lying about the quality of our food, or the satisfaction of our visit, he calls his "boss" the apparently OWNER of this particular location, who also flat out refuses a refund, actually encouraged me to make a complaint to the franchise, stating "this is how Mr. Sub does their business", before hanging up.
Not once during this whole incredibly ridiculous situation, did the employee or the boss try to rectify the situation, but rather agitated the situation. I want my refund, and I will forever boycott this particular location, and every other Mr. Sub location I may encounter.
