Poor Warranty Service

My WM2016CW washing machine died December 24th while washing a housecoat. I phoned LG, and was referred to their warranty service agents Trans Global Services. I got a recording, left a message, and then filled in an online request for servicing. I phoned back Monday the 27th to check on my request for servicing. They said no record of my request existed, and I should go to Home Depot and get them to fax my purchase records to them. I did this. I called back Wednesday the 29th for an update, and they claim to not have any record of my fax, or phone call. I then called LG Canada again to request servicing, and they took my information. I called again on Friday for an update, since I had never received a return call from anybody at any time. A new Case # was assigned to me (#CMN101230575363), and I was told to wait 2 to 4 business days for a reply. I called back on January 7th, having heard nothing from LG, and after a long wait on hold was finally given an appointment for a service call.

Now let's see how that works out. The machine was purchased in October of 2009, and just lasted long enough to get past the one year warranty for labour. The logic board is warrantied for 2 years, but I'll still get screwed for buying an unreliable machine with poor customer service behind it.
