I recieved a letter in the mail on august19, 06 from skydutch sweepstakes, saying i had won the 3rd category in the sweepstakes.the letter gave a number so, i called and spoke to a woman who then told me it wasn't a scam i really did win and that all i had to do was cash the check and wire the money to a man in hamilton, ontario canada as soon as i did that i was to call her back with the control number, and 24-48 hours after i would recieve my money in my bank account.well i took the check to my bank today and got a real shock, but i think my feelings were hurt more because of how silly i felt.i am getting ready to lose my home, and haven't a clue of what i'm going to do so, i was happy i was going to be able to provide for my children, but that wasn't the case do these people sleep ok at night? knowing that there are people out there who can't afford to just throw it away without knowing for sure.i am glad that my bank caught this mishap, because they said if it would have come back as bounced i would've had to pay the $1, 995.00 back to them or go to jail! what a total dash of dreams! i only hope that they catch these people for doing this to people uswho are barely making ends meet.
