Filmaction Consulting
Filmaction.com They request film screenplays from talented writers & they keep on changing fake contacts difficult to communicate with them Burnaby Vancouve

This what the company does, changing fake address, so that when you send your screenplays you can not be able to get in touch with them.

First they were using this address:
FilmAction Consulting
113-1252 Ross Rd. North Vancouver.
BC, V7J 1V1. Canada.

Now they are using this one.
FilmAction Consulting
#513 6540 E. Hastings St.
Burnaby, BC V5B 4Z5. Canada
Tel: 604.918.3828

This is the info they advertise.
FilmAction Consulting will be producing at least 5 to 10 feature films in the next 2 to 5 years. We see absolutely no reason why a screenplay written by a talented yet undiscovered writer should not be one of these projects... So, by all means, send us your screenplay and let us evaluate your work. As always, there are some Submission Guidelines as to how you should proceed to submit your screenplay.

We are searching for polished, well-structured, well-written and professional-looking screenplays that are essentially ready for production. If your screenplay does not meet these standards, do not send us a query for that screenplay.

Send us a COPY of your screenplay, as your materials will not be returned to you, regardless of enclosures.

All screenplays must be in English.
Provide a working title for your screenplay.
All screenplays must be in industry standard format.
(if you have to ask us what industry format is... we suggest that you purchase a working copy of either Final Draft or Scriptware)

Page length varies according to the format you are submitting. Screenplays that are too long or too short may be considered unprofessional. This is especially true for television because shows need to squeeze into time slots.

All screenplays (full length feature film) must be between 80 to 130 pages in length.

1 hour television spec scripts need to be 55 to 65 pages in length. No less. No more. A common rule of thumb says 1 script page equals approximately 1 minute on the television screen. On some shows, 1 script page equals less than 1 minute. Script timing is a very accurate science. Please do not apply your own theories to the process.

Do not send us computer disks. One hard copy of your screenplay will suffice.

Do not cheat on your margins. Stay within 1 to 1.25 inches on all sides. If you cheat, we will notice.

Font Style and Size: the industry standard is Courier 11 to 12 point, but similar fonts are acceptable. If your font is too big or too small, your screenplay will have the appearance of being too short or too long, even if it falls within page limits. Whatever font you use, make it is one that facilitates a fast read.

Proofread your screenplay thoroughly before submitting it to us. Avoid senseless mistakes that might pull your reader's attention from the story, such as typos, punctuation, or grammatical errors. Use spell check.

Double-check your pages. Be certain that all of your pages are there and are in order. Photocopy machines and human error will hurt your chances of being considered, especially if part of your screenplay is missing.

Response Time usually 6 to 12 weeks (if we do not contact you, chances are, we aren't interested). Please do not call us, asking if we've had a chance to review your work.

All screenplays must be an original work.

All screenplays must be firmly bound with a cover page that states the title of work and the author (s) name, address and contact information. Card stock covers are preferred.

Send us a COPY of your screenplay, as your materials will not be returned to you, regardless of enclosures.
