Took car in for a regular oil change. When my car was ready the tech came in and informed the shop that my prop rod was missing under the hood. I was shocked and replied that it was impossible. I asked the shop to order me a new one and they would install it for me. The next day, I went up north to visit my brother and we noticed that the hood of my car was a bit higher on the side the prop rod would have been located. My brother said that the tech probably dropped the hood of the car on the prop rod which then lifted the hood of the car. He then removed the rod in panic and in turn told me that the rod was missing when I brought the car in. I spoke to the store manager about this and told him that this was just a cover up. He was insulted that I should say such a thing and was very rude to me. I told him that he can shove the rod up his ******* *** and hung up on him. I will never deal with this shop again.
