I took my wife's car in for repair. The issue was the transmission slipping at stop signs or lights. It was like it was in neutral for a few seconds before it would drop into first gear.
Mr. Transmission shop in Markham, 50 Don Park Road, recommended a re-build but saved some of the previous parts that were in good shape. inv# 90002797
The transmission Still has Exactly the SAME issue.
Since the original issue wasn't addressed, the repair was unnecessary.
(I now think they (Ken) didn't really know what was wrong, but figured a re-build would fix it. He was very vague about what was causing the slipping) I am a return customer, on 2 previous occasions, i was satisfied. $2, 800 on my old Cavalier and $2, 000 last year on the same mercury sable. I trusted that he knew what he was doing and i feel like i've been taken advantage of.
I want a Full refund. $1, 964.85 They want me to bring it back so they can fix it. I'm afraid they'll find a minor issue to fix, that should have been done before the 1, 964.85 re-build.
