A1 Transmission in Red Deer are completely incompetent, rude and not only did not fix my transmission but they broke my brake line as well. I took my 1984 Chevy van to them because they are an AMA approved transmission repair shop. What a Joke.
I have taken this van in 6 times in the last 3 months and it still does not work properly. The first time they "fixed" it they broke a steel brake line and all of the brake fluid leaked out. The next day all of the automatic transmission fluid leaked out because the front seal was not installed correctly.
This leaking problem continued for 5 more "repairs"
The owner worked on the van one weekend and when we came to pick it up there was a 6 foot puddle of transmission fluid under the vehicle. When we confronted him about his "repair" the very rude owner yelled and screamed at me and my wife.
Now the transmission does not shift properly and they tell me I have a bad cable that will cost another $200 out of my pocket.
I am reporting this ripoff artist to the AMA, ATRA and the Better Business Bureau and I will take my van anywhere else to get it repaired.
