Peter's Auto
Ripoff, took advantage, fradullent, hurt me, almost ruiened family

I drive a 1994 Honda Accord Exr, Ihave been leasing this car from PETER'S AUTO, Here in London Ontario. First of all im just a kid 25 Years old warning signs were there but needed a car. Im a single dad of an amazing son needed transportation.

It has been a problem since day one, when I got the car i gave him a deposit of $500.00 am using a 12 month term of $350.00 a month works out to $4, 200.00 and a buy out of $1, 050.00 at the end Totaling $5, 250.00 ok.

Since I got behind the wheel there were never driver or passanger air bags, I had to take it to Muffler Man Purchase a new Exhaust front to rear and pay them to E-test it using my own money Approx $450.00 and change after tax. At least he let me use his dealer plate.

Within the first month i had to take it to his shop said its vibrating and making a grinding noise he said its the tires. my uncle owns Mr. Transmission looked at it for free I had to buy a passanger side drive axle! and Trany was leaking he j-b welded it for me no cost and installed axle. total cost $97.00 he picked it up at auto wreckers. Also while at auto wreckers managed to pick up a drivers side air bag and passanger side mirrior that were missing total $75.00

In december I had a miss hap were ice fell on my car causing the hood and fenders to be damanged. I called my insurance company they sent and gave me a rental. Peter found out and freaked . started freakin out on Clive an employee there, he called my insurance company, and the head office in toronto demanding he gets the check and that the works not done right, just being a real pain. They explained to me I did not have to aplogize he has done this before hes just mad he cant pocket the cash and hide the damage like he has always done.

In Febuary I noticed a real bad noice thought that it was ice in the wheel well tried getting a hold of peter he was giving me the run around saying he wanted me to work for him. he had to many cars there this and that.

So again I went to a diffrent shop and boy was I wrong and so glad I went some where else I had to Replace Both tie rod ends, Upper and Lower Control Arms, Ball joints, 3 out of 4 Wheel Bearings, all 4 Struts, and Springs, 2 Calipers and all 4 Routers and Pads, Totaling $3, 880.00 with all that wrong I asked them to check the Entire car throughly found I had a gas leake and Both Rad fans had to be replaced and Got new Belts an additional $269.00 I kept all my recipts for every thing I have done to this car A grand total of $8, 612.59 With accessories to of cource.

But that got me thinking how could all this be wrong with the car in such a short period of time? what was Clieve talking about. so I did a little reaserch Peter gets his cars from Impact Auto, Does cosmetec repairs adds paint then leases them out. I purchesed the buyers package and sure enough my car was a ride off at one point the wholsale value is $3, 025 and retail $5, 025 according to this sheet less then what im paying go figure. Basically I know im screwed my lease ends this November on the 1st.

There may be nuthing done for me but lets protect another family before something like this happens to them or worse one of his heaps kills some one. Peter cuts corners buys cheap damaged cars does little to fix them and leases them out dont know how he gets away from the safties but he does.

This has left such a bitter taste in my mouth knowing my sons been in danger. He is my world!! Lets Stop Peter before he goes to far.

Thank You!
Very Concerend Citzen.
