Approved Auto & Brownlee Automotive
Ripoff

I purchased a 1994 Chevrorlet, from this company on May 15, 2003 and they help me get it financed with Nelson Financial Group Ltd. Two months ago I took the car in to have a gas leak looked at, that's when I found out the car was structurally unsound. The mechanic told me that the rear wheel wells are rotted right through, the struts are rotted right through, the rear bumber is flaking away, the rocker pannels are history, and that all five gas lines are so badly rusted they should have been replaced.

Monday July, 21/04 I took the car again to another macanic to have a second opion. The second macanic told me the same thing.

I brought the car home, parked it, and took the plates off. My problem is I am a single mother of four children, I assumed that when a car is bought off an Auto Dealers lot that everything should be fine with a car.

As I said earlier Approved Auto who is in partnership with Nelson Financial Group Ltd, help me get my credit established, so I am paying $128.75 bi-weekly for this car. (total purchase price was $6, 297. I have called every government agency I can think off. They all tell me the same thing. It is up to me to prove that the structural damage was there when I bought the car. MTO won't even look at the car, because it has been more than six months since I purchased it.

I don't know what to do next. I am at a loss. I sit here crying, thinking how stupid I have been. I feel as though no one wants to listen. I feel as though I have been taken advantage off. I have a car sitting in my drive-way that I am scared to drive, because I am scared that if someone hits me from behind I will literaly exploed.

How do I get someone to listen to me? How I do I prove that this typed of damage could not happen in one years time?

I have contacted the prior dealers before it went to Approved Auto in North Bay, On., Canada. Ron Kings Best Choice Auto and Leasing in Peterborough, On (Don King) told me on the phone that they don't have to check if the car is structually sound. The care went from Ron King, to Lansdown Motors in Peterborough, On, to Approved Auto in North Bay within 8 days. The book value (retail value) of this car is $2475, wholesail value is $1075. Now this car (when I purchased the auto history) has always been a leased vehical.

What can I do.

Yours Truly
