As per the rules being followed by airlines all over the world that disables and families will take first for boarding then other passenger will allow to proceed. I was traveling in Etihad airways on 23.02.2012 from Abu Dhabi to Pakistan, flight no: ETD-241. I had a very bad experience over there,
I requested a boarding officer that kindly, let the disables and families come to first for boarding then allow others, he said ok; even he announced ‘once’ in that in plane but he didn’t followed it just announced and step back. Then my family and kids as well other family’s kids waited for our turn, when we came to him, I said the same thing that you have to follow the rule and let the disable and families come first. I am not asking favor myself even other passenger also said to him he is right but whatever you are doing is totally wrong and unacceptable
He said: “this is not my responsibility, I cannot control that people” then I said: you should have trainings for this situation or you should have skill for it. Then said to me and my family that are you guys ‘Deaf’, he did misbehaved with my wife and he took our boarding pass and stated: “let me see now who can allow you to travel from this flight, you don’t know my power”. Then he called someone and order to him take out the baggage from the flight, that time we are look like a prisoners and look like bagger I never ever seen this kind of insult in my life.
Then I find a security guy on airport name: Hameed, he talked to that guy and he didn’t listen to the security person. That security person called kasim – duty manager and Zeenab. Still that person who was misbehaving with us, he refused to them,
Even both guys said to him you should not say anything to any Etihad passenger you should sorry from them. Then I told them I will call Abu Dhabi Canadian consulate to complain and I will never travel in Etihad airline again. Many passengers make videos of the incident; they will surely upload that video on YouTube or on Face book.
I am not accepting Etihad Airline has such good reputation in the world but beside they hired unprofessional a staff who is trying to spoil the name of Airline. Do you know due to your bad staff attitude and misbehaving with Etihad guest how much you will lose the business?
I am going to forward that letter to Pearson Airport authority, travel agent and media.
Please consider my complain on top priority, investigate take action it good for your business and Etihad Airline name, if you want any eye witness I can provide ten eye witness, Please advise me ASAP
