CREDIT CARD SLAMMING & INCORRECT CREDIT REPORTING

I originally had a Citibank Classic Visa back in 1995. Due to financial difficulties/divorce I was forced into bankruptcy in 2000. This account was included and eventually purged from my credit report. NOW I find that due to credit card slamming, this account has been changed to a Citibank MC with a different account number. This new account now shows on my credit report as a derogatory item. Because the number has been changed, I cannot prove to TransUnion Credit, that it is the same account that was included in my bankruptcy and have it removed from my report. I cant even get a call back from Citibank. Looks like I am in for a long legal battle. In the meantime, my credit which I worked so hard to re establish is ruined again. It was only through the courtesy of MBNA, that I even found out this had been done!
