They sent me a bogus check and want me to send them money

B.C.B.E. Financial Services sent me a check and they want me to deposit it and send them a portion of it to pay the tax on it. They tell me I've won $250, 000 and the money I am to send them back will pay the taxes on my winnings. They say my claim number is BDCG 100-7845 and I am the winner in the Compensation Lottery Draw A. My entry slip says 446755 and my lucky number drawn is 44-87-69-05.

I am supposed to contact Melissa Anderson at 1 778-855-5382 after I deposit this bad check.

Then they say my tax agent is Theresa Brooks of 65 Woodbridge Street in Calgary, Alberta, Canada and the amount I am to send back to her by MoneyGram is $3680.00. The check amount is $4670.00.

Oh, this check looks good, very clever of these fakers. The check has Huntingon Bank printed on it with no address and the name and address of another company on it: SAGE-POPOVICH and its address in Valparaiso, Indiana. Huntington Bank is in Ohio. There is a watermark on the back of the check that says Docuguard.

This letter to me was mailed from Canada. Let everyone be aware of this clever rip-off.
