Compensation Lottery Draw A IS A FRAUD Calgary

I recieved a check in the mail stating that I won the Compensation Lottery Draw A for all the leading stores in Canada and the US. It states that an entry slip with serial number 446755 was attached to my name and drew my lucky winning numbers 44-87-69-05. It goes on to state that I won $250, 000.00 and included a check written for $4, 670.00 from a US university. the letter informed me to call the claims agent because the $4, 670.00 was to be used to pay the non-resident government tax. After the taxes were paid, I would recieve a check from Fed Ex or UPS for the $250K. When I called the claims agent, all she said was congratulations and call me back when you deposit the check. At first glance, the check looks legit but its not. I called the universities accounting department and they informed me that it was a fraudulent check. Apparently, this is a national scam and they use several different company names and information. WATCH OUT!!!
