Congratulations to me! I have won $40, 000!
In order to facilitate speedy and hassle free processing of my claim, I received a check in the amount of $4, 900 (deducted from my total winning prize) to enable me to pay for the applicable Tax.
All I have to do is deposit the check in my bank account and then contact Noel Johnson or April Harris @ 905-598-1154 to make arrangements to pay the "tax" from my account.
The letter is signed by Barry Carlos, Vice President
Although the check has several security features and for all intents and purposes looks legitimate, a brief phone call to the US Bank (1-800-872-2657) reveals that the account number is bogus.
