On Friday june 14th i got a phone call from first capital. I spoke to a girl named meegan who led me to believe that after debiting my account for $199 that i would receive 2 credit cards for $5000 each. she said that i would be receiving them by that next monday or tuesday. After giving her my checking acct info she had tom alexander call me back to verify. being that he was so rude made me very suspicious so i tried to call meegan back and of course no answer. so i quickly called the bank and made a stop payment. After i made the stop payment i called her back. she finally answered but i never told her that i stopped the check but i did tell her that this seemed to be a scam. meegan claimed that this was not a scam and everything was ok.i still continued the stop payment without telling her. they are suppose to debit my checking acct on june 21st but they'll never get the money. and guess what? i still do not have the cards.i am aware that these people will continue to try to get the money by using a different check#. today i took the time to look them up on the internet and thank god i found out about the consumer complaints. hopefully they will not get any of money or do anything else with my checking acct. i just don't understand why the police cannot catch these people.wendyhackensack, New Jersey
