TCR (COLLECTION AGENCY)
Harassment/breaking the law

Tcr has been harassing me for MONTHS! They call numerous times per day (sometimes 10-12) stating that I owe money to a company. To this day, I have no idea who I owe money to, the amount or any information at all.

They kept leaving messages with a pre recorded voice. The name of the person on the recording was"Laurie degerionemo "(sp). I called them back quite a few times and every time I called they tried to gather all kinds of personal information without telling me the nature of their call. I told them I wasn't giving them any information over the phone (hence them calling me from a private number) I was very suspicious.

I even asked to speak to the General manager"Laurie Degerionemo" and of course, she was "conveniently" out of the office.

These people have broken Canadian collection laws by not stating who I owe the money to or the amount.

They also have broken another law... HARASSMENT.Legit collection agencies (most of them anyway) DO NOT call 12 times per day. I've dealt with collection agencies in the past, and none of them operate as "shady" as TCR.

If they are legit, they really need to make some changes to the way they handle their business. At this rate, they must not be collecting many payments, operating the way they do. NOBODY in this day and age is going to give personal information to a random person calling from a private number.

Don't even bother dealing with these people. I highly suggest you tell them to take you to court. For some reason I have a good feeling you'll probably never end up there anyway.

SCREW YOU TCR.
