We have a vacation home in Florida. Travelodgings called and sold us on advertising our home to Canadians via their website. They also guaranteed at least 3 bookings to us. The sales rep took us through a very quick demo and got us to sign up - promised us the world. You soon learn that the site really stinks once you get on there.
They are supposed to be a huge company, yet there is no way whatsoever to search their site. Meaning if you would like to seach for something basic say price points, rooms, amenities, etc. you cannot do it.
You simply get thrown into a huge list and hope that someone scrolls around enough to find you. I've also asked about priorities in listing... they have none. Meaning you don't get rotated into the 1st, 10th, 100th position depending on visits, you just "appear somewhere" according to their rep.
I requested a refund the next day and was refused.
This is an absolutely horrible company with horrible service and no web skill whatsoever. I strongly encourage everyone to stay away! There are a number of high quality rental sites out there - this is not one of them!
