Complaint Reagrding True Roots (Canda) a TATA Company.

I bought the True 1ndia plan from trueroots, where call charge was 3cents/min if connected through a toll free number and 1 cent min if connected through a toll number. I got a mail from true roots after registration which had a single phone number mentioned as Canada access number at one place and same number as access number at another place. Nowhere the mail mentioned Toll free number. I used the Canada access number/access number assuming it to be local access number (anybody will do the same). After many days I found I was being charged 3 cents per minute. I called customer service center they informed that Canada Access number is a toll free number and they don’t publish local access number on mail, which is a straightforward cheating. All this was planned (to use similar names (many for one) for different numbers) to confuse people, not mentioning the toll number (local access number) on the mail to cheat.

Moreover I went to their website after this episode it’s difficult to find toll free number on their website. All this is intentional. They don’t respond to your complaint (email).

BEWARE DON’T BUY ANYTHING FROM TRUE ROOTS, A TATA COMPANY, THEY ARE CHEATERS
