My wife and |I wanted to try ballroom dancing, we picked up an ad by Auther murry school of dance offering introductory lesson for $15 each, after the lesson we were hearded into the franchise owners office and she very smoothly laid out lesson plans for us which offered 70 lessons of dance instruction.
This group of lesson included 10 private sessions, she quickly booked us in for all the private sessions within a few weeks!
Each time we arrived this manager hounded us to sign up for extra fuctions at a price! it was so bad we didnt want to go any more and chose the cancelation option included when we signed up, However she then told us we owed her money as we had taken the private lessons (the ones she booked us in quickly) when asked how she figured this out she pointed to the very small print that stated the money for the entire course of 70 lessons was actually only for the 10 private lessons.
When we informed her we did not agree with these underhanded and blatantly missleading tactics, she forged a signature on a visa reciept and took another $183.64 basicaslly we paid $299.79 for 3hrs of instruction!! we attended these lessons with friends who paid the same amount which equels $199.86 for 1 junior instructor per hour.
Be very careful when dealing with this thief.
