My mother received a letter stating she won $200, 000.00 USD from a SHOPPERS LOTTERY held on Aug 20th, 2008 and with the first check of $4700.00 she was to deposit ad pay the Governmant taxes after calling the claims agent (Tim Parker) who instructed us to send the money western union or money gram to a Joanne Webber!!! NOT U.S. TREASURY DEPT or FRANCHISE TAX BOARD!
I Called the bank listed (M&I Bank of Mayville, WI) they informed me it WAS INFACT A FRAUDULANT CHECK! DO NOT CASH THESE CHECKS! After google searching the company and finding that KI INC is actually a furniture store in Green Bay, WI. I called and informed them. I called Tim Parked (the crooked claims agent) and toled him he was a crook and this was a scam and that I reported him to the government... he hung up on me and would not answer his phone again! How pathetic huh?
This is absolutely WRONG and CRUEL that these jerks are targeting the elderly and trying to STEAL their HARD EARNED and VERY BUDGETED money! Don't fall for this crap! Report it everywhere you can and help to stop this kind of crime from happening!
