Pagakis took full payment for wedding album and video in 2004 and has yet to deliver!

I got married in 2004 and still have not received my wedding album nor my video from Pagakis Photo & Video.

Every time I call the studio, Elias (Louis) always rushes me off the phone asking me to call back the following week. I've lost track of all the appointments he's set up with me to then cancel on me at the very last minute. One excuse about 3 years about was that everything was a mess and packed away in boxes due to renovations in his studio, another excuse was that the company he deals with for his Arciboni wedding albums went bankrupt so he started dealing with another company and there are delays.

He told me himself last month that he has been avoiding me because he did not have all my pictures ready when 2 years ago he lied to me when he told me that he had my album ready but had to remove the pictures from it to give to another customer. One of the last times he rushed me off the phone he said to call him back the following week, he had all my stuff set aside, no problem. I even proposed for him to leave my stuff with someone else for me to pick them up but he never got back to me on that because he obviously lied about having everything set aside for me.

The day I called to go meet him, of course, was not good for him but told me he would be there all day the next day from 10am to 11pm. To not waste my time in traffic, I called when I was in the area to hear from his mother that he would not be back for another hour and a half. I called back, someone fumbled with the phone on his end and the line cut. I called again to get his voicemail, I left a message for him to call me back and he never did. My husband even drove by at 8pm to find no one there.

He sent me home with a blank DVD which was supposed to be my wedding video and I know for a fact that another couple who got married in 2004 received their video but it had a crackling sound from beginning to end because of a faulty video camera and the only way to rectify it would be to put music over the whole video which will erase the wedding vows, any other comments and speaches made by family and guests.

ELias Pagakis is a liar and a cheat. He and his brother George run this company and they took my last payment on the night of my wedding so of course are in no rush to deliver... 4 years later!!! I had dealt with Louis for my contract before my wedding and had never met or even seen George until he showed up at my door the morning of my wedding to be my photographer. I did not make a fuss, I just let it be. Louis had told me that he stays to take pictures until the very end of the reception, he leaves when the bride and groom leave.

Well, he did not show up to take my pictures on my wedding day and I don't remember seeing his brother George much long after I paid him the last payment at around 10:30pm the night of my wedding. He left his kid-assistant... it's not for nothing that my proofs turned out dark and unprofessional looking. It took me forever to decide which pictures I wanted to get blown up to keep forever! I could have taken better pictures myself.

I was charged $250 for each parents' album which holds 12 pictures in each when each album only costs him $30! Talk about rip off! He did not have the time to sort the pictures to know which went in which album, his excuse was that he was too tired from working 2 weeks non-stop so he just gave me the pictures and the albums separately for me to fill in myself. Talk about service!

I have had to rearrange my schedule to make myself available for the numerous appointments he makes with me to then have him stand me up at the very last minute. I paid $4, 400 back in 2004... calculate all the interest I've lost on that money. I should never have paid him in full without having received the full service first.

Pictures and memories are extremely important to me, my wedding day cannot be repeated and it kills me to think that I may have lost it all to some irresponsible photographer who, believe it or not, is still making money from other innocent customers who don't know any better. Just thinking on all of this gives me migranes.

There is so much more I could say but I'll just leave it at: Stay away from Pagakis Photo & Video.
