On Decembe4r 8, 2007, I ordered a set of 25 "Get Smart" DVD's for a christmas present. They sent a confirmation saying it would be delivered between December 28th and the 31st. I told them that if they coudn't guarantee delivery by Decemebr 25th to cancel the order. They responded that the delivery would be made before Decemebr 25th.
The shipment never arrived. The Canadian mail reference number CE469133767CA shows the shipment leaving Canada on 12-18-2007, with no additional information.
The shipping address on the email confirmation shows my address and zip code, but an alberta Canada adddress.
Canadian Post will not help because I am not the sender. I sent several emails to the email address provided on the shipping confirmation [email protected] and have not received a response.
I do not have a telephone number for follow up.
I believer this was a deliberate, successful, attempt to defraud me out of almost $100. The shipping address was not accidental. I believe we are dealing with international mail fraud and that it should be handled as such.
