I have signed up with this company to get free books and a free gift. BIG MISTAKE. It was my understanding that I had to commit to buying 4 orders of books which was about $17.00 per order. So I bought the next four orders of only 2 books mind you. I then called them and told them to stop sending me books my commitment is over. They said no problem; they stopped the books from coming, however the bills keep coming.
I don't know why they did not tell me I owed money when I called to cancel. Apparently they did not receive two of my payments. Which worked out to be about $40.00 with LATE PAYMENT. I called customer service to tell them I am not paying them because I did send it. They then sent me to collections. I WAS MAD. I have not paid it yet. Was willing to pay for half because I don't have proof because I used a money order and did not keep the receipt. They would not go for that.
Then they also spoke to my boyfriend and sent him some books and suckered him in to these books as well when I wasn't home. So they told him if he did not want the books he could send it back. Well I made sure they were sent back in September and then in December he gets a bill saying he owes money. The books were suppose to be free... So of course they did not receive the shipment. How convent, they did not receive the books or my payment. NICE. I AM SICK OF THEM, if anyone has any suggestions as to what to do PLEASE CALL ME OR E-Mail (info deleted by usaconsumercomplaints.com - to reply to this report, please post a rebuttal or email the EDitor).
