According to this agency it costs $5 per headshot. Which works out to be $125 for 25 prints. Meanwhile, I worked with a digital retouching studio and their rate was $123 for 100 prints. And then a re-order after that is $105 for 100 prints.
When I asked them what printing company they work with they refused to tell me claiming that it would ruin their relationship with the company. I have yet to discover the name, contact information of this alleged printing company. They won't even show me a receipt. As far as I'm concerned if they can't provide a company name and a receipt, it doesn't exist. The only "proof" they supposedly have are some blurry headshots which the printers apparently messed up.
Blurry headshots are hardly proof of an existing printing company. Anyone can sit at home and print something up. Receipts, a company name, contact information - that's what any reputable agency would provide.
If you're someone else who has been ripped off by Just Canadian Talent, or any other talent agency, don't hesitate to report it. Help inform other people seeking representation.
