Galerie Concorde
Fraudulent practices of selling overpriced art

I was contacted by Earle Corber in April 2007 about a Leroy Neiman piece. He told me that this piece would be worth three times as much on the market right now. I checked with the better business bureau with Montreal, and even received a letter from Galerie Concorde stating that their record is clear. So i purchased this piece. Mr. Corber seemed very nice and cordial, but a great liar. He stated that some man was being investigated by the irs so he needed to sell his pieces, and that's where i came in. I proceeded to buy two more pieces in the next year, one of them being a Nechita suite worth about 10, 000, and also a Peter Max.

He went on and on about Nechita being on Oprah, and how wonderful she was, and how my piece is worth more than $20, 000 on the open market right now. Kept going on and on how Neiman is smoking cigars like their's no tomorrow, how he's about to die soon. Just full of it...

I did some research on the net and found that my pieces were selling much less than what i had bought. I questioned him regarding this and he gave some BS excuse stating that the pieces you're looking at are fake or not in great shape. Before he tried to sell me a fourth piece, i told him to sell one of my existing pieces, and i'll use that money to buy another. He was gravely disappointed that i didn't my a piece. Boo-hoo Mr. Corber, you scumbag. He kept contacting me, wanting to sell me a piece. I finally told him to stop calling me, and told him that i now know that you're a fraud along with your company. That's the last i heard from him.

I did some more research and found this website. I would love to take these guys down, if anyone has info on the class action suit, please notify me. These people are terrible, should be reprimanded for what they did to so many people. Lock em up...
