$3, 175.00 fraudulent check! There is no HSBC Bank in Plattsburgh New York

I received a check from Allen & Heath, thought it was strange that someone would send me money just so that I could send it back to them. I did a reverse lookup of their phone number, no hit; i did a reverse lookup of their address, no hit! So I called HSBC being that i do have an account with them, and once i said Allen & Heath i was immediately told that the check was fraudulent. They dont even have a branch in the 12910 zip code. I am planning on forwarding my letter and fake check to the attorney general. Someone has to catch these people. Please do not attempt to cash any check that you receive from this company! Please beware its DEFINITELY a SCAM!
