I didn't fall for this sheme, but I don't want anyone else (especially the elderly) to get burned. I wish there were a way to prohibit these kind of mailings!

This kind of mailing really urks me. The company makes you think you've won money and then you're stuck with a bad check or paying back money.

The elderly are especially vulnerable to this kind of scam. A lot of them don't have access to computers and can't check these things out.

With all the laws that are on the books, you'd think this kind of scamming could be nipped right in the bud.
