If you look at your check book you certainly have the address and phone number of your bank. Thus said if it were a legitimate check it should have such information. Of course they want $2875 from the $4875.00 check. Give me a break. If this was legitimte wouldn't they have with held the taxes? In addition the English within the letter is a dead give away this is fraudulent. Don't fall for this scam! As the old saying goes if it sounds too good to be true it usually is.
