I keep getting calls from some dimwit who asks me about information, I just say sure, he never asks if it is me. i have a very common name which makes it more fun. I have a letter from Alberta student loans stating that I owe them no funds. Yet this NCO financial continues to phone. I told him that no I will not pay for a loan I dont have. He then states it will be on my credit report for 10 years.
So out of pure curiosity (day off of work, nothing on tv) I phone and ask a credit place about how long it stays on a persons record, they inform me it is 7 years. The geek that phoned me, gave me this other persons social insurance number and middle name (which is not even close to mine). He gave me last known address and place of employment. Now dont get me wrong, I love having these people phone me, from now on it wont matter who they ask for, I will be that person. I would like to know, why dont they hire people with education or even just basic highschool to make these calls!!! dealing with them is like hanging wall paper with one arm while having crabs.
