I recently received a check this past weekend in the mail for $3969.00 also from Info Direct Monitoring & Research Services. After contact the bank listed on the check to verify availability of funds as well as checking to make sure the account was valid, the CSR informed me the only information he could provide is that the account is open. I left 2 messages for the mentioned Assignment Co-Ordinator, Joan Edwards to contact me. However, I never received a call back. After calling again and finally reaching her, the response given to me made me a little weiry. Her only concern was that the check had been deposited into my account and she then told me to contact her back once it clears in the next 2-3 days. As a business person myself, it was strange that she had not cared to share any information about the company, what she expected me to do as an independant contractor and how my information was obtained. I immediately began to search online for more information on this company. After finding NO information at all, I saw a link for an article posted here on usaconsumercomplaints.com addressing this same company. Apparently Susan, a fellow subscriber, received this same letter and check in the mail over the weekend. She too lives in the state of Georgia. I intend to email everyone I know and make them aware of this scam. If you have received a check from this company Please Do Not Deposit this into your account.
