Complaint / review / scam report
At approximately 5pm, I came onto the BP website to complete an online order. Upon submitting the order approximately 10 minutes later, a message appeared to say the order had been submitted but not completed, to complete please call the restaurant. At that time, the website was very slow at loading and wouldn't allow me to return to the order page. Once I contacted the restaurant, a male answered, once I explained my situation that the website didn't complete my order then told me to call the restaurant, he resonded by saying he would have a manager take the line. After being put on hold for nearly 10 minutes, the male returned to say he would take my order over the phone, by this time I was able to get back to the order page to list him the items for my order. Once I placed my order again, over the phone, he then placed me on hold for roughly another 5 minutes, he came back to say they were out of one of the items I ordered (sticky ribs). This was very disappointing because it had already taken 30 minutes to place this order. We picked another item to add to our order to compensate for the missing item and I finished by requesting to have the order delivered and pay for it by Visa. He then told me they could only accept Cash tonight as they didn't have their personal delivery driver tonight. Another disappointment to add to the situation, I then asked the male how long for the delivery and he replied approx. 40 minutes. I explained to him that it was very disappointing to hear that the process had took well over half an hour to place the other and now another 40 minute wait along with all the other things that went wrong during one order. All he had to reply with was he was sorry for our inconvinence. I personally feel that more should have been done on the part of the BP employee to rectify the negative situation. I wanted to cancel my order all together but realised how much time I had already put into it and still went through with the order. I have to say that I really do not believe we will ever be ordering from Boston Pizza again due to such a horrible experience and lack of customer service that was provided. Just all around a very big disappointment, just to order dinner.
