This company is on the move but they still do the same thing. They send a check, tell u to pay the tax and tell you to call them. What stop me was the fact that i don't remeber entering any contest. So if you don't remember entering anything do your research first.
The company also makes it very easy to see that they are fake just by the letter they send. The 1st thing you should notice is the fact that the letter doesn't look professional at all, and also notice that they automatically tell you that this is your final notice. If you haven't recieved any other notices, why would they send you a final one. Also, they tell you that you have won a lump sum, big money prizes like this give you an option. They ask you if you want the lump sum or if you want the payment in installments. Finally why do you pay a tax agent all the way in canada, but the bank that wrote the check is in this country.
So in closing if you did deposit the check with out do some resarch untill now, then sorry to say your a dumbass. Hopefully if you still have the check in your hand, then i would shredd it and the note, but before you do give the company and the bank a call and report it to them. Don't call Golden rewards, cause they never pick up.
