My husband received a letter dated 10/6/08 and a check for $4890.00. Creepy thing was that it has a Canada stamp, but no post mark, like someone put it in the mailbox by hand. Letter indicates that ticket serial #387450146 drew the lucky winning number of 38-44-66-79-91 and that he were entitled to the sum of $250, 000.
Letter wants part of the check sent back via Western Union or MoneyGram. However, letter instructs to not cash the check until you talk to Bob Morris at 1-905-598-1354. My husband tried to call, but got a full voice mail message. If it walks like a scam and smells like a scam, its gotta be a scam!!!
It scares me to think how many people have probably already lost their money to these people!!! My husband is really, really mad, so I hope you good folks at complaint get to them before he does!!!
