Pacific Healthcare, Inc. - Ken Williams - Robert Duskin - Rose Miller Promotion Claim Manager IT'S NOT THE LOTTERY AND YOU DIDN'T WIN WATCH OUT FOR CHECK SCAM Calgary, MUSCATINE CANADA, IOWA

I arrived home today only to receive an envelope with what appeared to contain a check for $4, 989.75 claiming to be the winnings from a lottery described as "National Lotto Co-Operation Sweepstakes Lottery, Shopping Award in conjunction with Sony. The letter claimed that I was one of (10) recipients of an award of $1.5 Million dollars and they had made many attempts to notify me.

Since, I had no idea of what sweepstakes/prize or lottery I had entered I read on, only to be told that the enclosed check was deducted from my entitled $150, 000 winnings so I would be able to pay the required taxes. As I read on the letter indicated that I needed to send $2, 998.00 via western union or moneygram to the Tax Agent. I was assigned an agent by the name of Ken Williams, and I would receive tax information from him. There is a telephone number indicated at the bottom 647-686-4023. I was given a claim number of PHI-0815-NL and was told to contact my claim agent within (5) days.

At the bottom of the communication was the name Mrs. Rose Miller, Promotion/claim Manager. There is a logo at the bottom of the page that looks as if it was done on a home computer that says, LOTTO AGENT "Your Personal Choice lotto Agent". I am a tax professional, so I was curious as to why the so called required taxes were paid up front to us only to be paid back to an agent. It didn't make sense. Tempting as it may my intuition kicked in and I decided to look this company up on the internet. Only to find that this is a scam. Given that I am a tax professional and was still lured in momentarily I am sure there are folks out there that will follow the directions and will be scamed out of their hard earned money. Not this girl.
