Two years ago I purchased CyberDefender and then had to spend an additional $200 to get my computer debugged and cleaned up - software is crap. CyberDefender wanted to charge me $360 to do it online. Last year they renewed without authority and it took 5 months to get the money back on my credit card, which I believe only happened because I continually pursued them. Yesterday I received a renewal notice and replied that I under no circumstances wanted their software. Today I received notice that I was successfully renewed and that they'd charged my card! After waiting on the phone for 45 minutes, I was told they would cancel the charge. Looks like I'm in for another long haul with these con artists. What do I have to do? Cancel my credit card? Change my email address? Vultures!!!
