They Tried to rip me off But I stopped it before it started

I want to start off with, I recieved a check in the mail. For the sum of 3, 998.75, I called the repesentative Marc White. He advised me to put the check in my Bank Account. I did the opposite, I went to a check cashing place. Bells was ringing in my head.. He said I was picked a winner of the Online Store Promotions. So since all my friends work in the banking business, We tried to verify where this check came from.. So the check cashing place said that their computers was down.. The Company that is, I called Marc White back after I came back from the store, He asked me about all the information on the check I gave it too him. I let the check cashing place take a copy of this check..

So this morning I got up and wanted to do background checks on these companies, Marc White told me to tell the check cashing people that this is a check for my Insurance claim.. I know I didn't have no Insurance claim coming to me. And he also told me do not let the bank or the check cashing people see the letter. He said give them his number.. More bells were ringing in my head.

I tracked down this company on the check Tapco Brace Company and it is a place that build tools and ballpark equipment.. I put in the address of this company and it is no longer available.. Not only that The name of the Bank is Sky Bank and that bank is closed... I have different name on the check different from the name on the letter and plus it doesn't have A presidents name or CEO..

So I called Marc White back and I told him what I uncovered and He had the nerve to say He don't know what I am talking about.. I wish I would have tapped our conversations.. Someone needs to stop these people of ripping people off of their hard earned money. I was smart and fortunate enough to do some checking before I did anything with this check I am still in possesion of this letter and this check.. And I want to help other people with matters like this.. I do feel sorry for the people that got caught with this scam.. So I just want to warn people do some checking before you give or do anything important with your information.

And another thing he said that had me puzzled he asked me when I cash the check to Call him back so I can send him money to pay for my taxes.. Now Come on we all know Uncle Sam the IRS getting their money before anything is done..
