I too have been caught in their scam but they have many names and many enticements. The one thing that is standard is that they take your money deny having received it, charge unheard of late fees especially when they tell you there is no set time limit you may pay at your convenience and then threaten you with "Their Collection Agency" and promise to destroy your credit rating with an extra charge of $112.00
I will be filing with the Fraud Agency in Canada but I want anyone else who may be tempted to be warned. I have paid my debt to these people and still have been told that I have outstanding charges and must pay them. It does not matter that you try to write them to convey any kind of message they just continue to send you more bills. I really wonder how they figure the amounts?
They have tried to get me to pay the same bill twice (the original amount was $34.00) my lastest demand from them states that I owe them $6.00 for the service and $9.00 for the late fee for a total of $15.00. I have no idea where these amounts come from but they say that if I don't pay these charges I will be penalized and they will ruin my credit rating.
