Hi, my husband and I got a letter in the mail today from a Gordon Financial Services congratulating us on our win of 3, 950 from the Consumer's Reward Program Lottery. A check was included with the exact amount. A number was also included inside to call for directions on how to claim your total of prize 38, 000. My husband called the number (after examining the check which has watermarks and all the same as a real check) he spoke to a man who claimed to be a Steve Ganga. I had a few more questions so I took it to the internet where I came accross consumer complaints and what do you know? I found the exact same story with a few alterations. I called the number back again. This time I spoke to a Jennifer (Lowe) (which had the same last name as in the story I had just read.) I asked if maybe they had a website I could look farther into our win. Needless to say anymore there was no website. My husband then called WELLS FARGO BANK (bank the check was from). They informed us the check was stolen and if we had cashed it we would have been charged with fraud. Farther more that 2 others from the area have already called before us about the same check. SO DO NOT CASH ANY CHECKS RECIEVED FROM CONSUMERS LOTTERY PROGRAM (THERE IS NO PROGRAM).
