This company sent me a check in the mail for $3, 875.00. They said i won a sweepstakes over the internet. They said to deposit it in my checking account and wait for it to clear. Then they told me to draw out $2, 835.00 and send it to them for their tax purpose before they could send me the rest of my winnings, which was to be $125, 000.00.
Needless to say, the check was bogus. I knew it was too good to be true.
